Soraya Ali is a British broadcast journalist, humanitarian and activist. She was a Senior Journalist and Reporter at BBC World Service and Reuters before being appointed as Save the Children’s Global Media Manager for the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe. 

Soraya has worked in conflict zones and covered stories across the UK, Jordan, Egypt, Somalia, Senegal, Kenya, Iraq and most recently Gaza.

Soraya is a founding member and former Chief Operating Officer (COO) for The Vavengers, an award-winning charity that supports survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). She currently serves on their Board of Trustees.
